BRABU Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must have the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for admission at BRABU:
- Bachelor’s programs ask for a 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks from a recognized examination board.
- For a Master’s degree, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a qualifying score in entrance examinations such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc.
- PhD program eligibility depends on the score of the PAT(PhD Entrance Test) conducted by the university. Other entrance exams accepted include UGC, JRF, GATE, etc.
- Additionally, PhD candidates should also have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade from a UGC recognized university.

BRABU will open its application for PhD Admission 2025s soon for a variety of specialisations in different domains of Arts, Science, Literature, Communication, Education, and more. The fee structure depends on the type of specialisation and ranges from INR 11,000 to INR 15,000 approximately. Candidates are required to appear for the PhD Admission Test(PAT), and the registration for this exam starts on 26 May 2025 and the deadline is 12 June 2025. The examination will happen in Jul,y and the candidates can check the official website for the latest notifications as well as apply by paying a fee of INR 3000 for general categories, and INR 2000 for SC, ST, EBC, OBC, EWS, and women category candidates. The eligibility for PhD courses is a basic requirement of a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
